Miranda and Joe's wedding

Miranda and Joe's wedding

I am finally getting around to posting Miranda and Joe's wedding! I posted their sneak peek, but then couldn't find time to get the rest of the post done.

I met Miranda a couple of years ago when she was an intern at Cincy Chic. Once she got engaged, she called me. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her. She's a great girl and when I met Joe ... I realized they were the perfect couple! They had an outdoor ceremony at the sunken gardens at Landmark Baptist church. If you haven't seen it, you are missing out. What a wonderful place for a wedding.
here are a few images from the day ...

the limo waiting outside the main house ...

getting the dress on ...

the boutonnieres ..

Miranda and Joe seeing each other for the first time ...

then we headed outside for some photos before the ceremony ...

I love this shot ... Miranda is gorgeous!

the wedding party at the ceremony site ...

Joe almost didn't make it to the alter ...

thank goodness he did :)

I love this shot of the flower girl chasing the ringbearer down the aisle ...
a shot during the ceremony ...

sand ceremony ...

Miranda getting emotional during the vows ...

the receiving line under this amazing tree ...

during the ceremony, a lot of people were having trouble hearing the vow which Miranda and Joe wrote themselves. So when they got to the reception, they grabbed a mic and did a re-reading.

their first dance ...

father/daughter dance ...

mother/son ...

the bouquet toss ...

Miranda and Joe, congratulations!!! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph such a wonderful union of two wonderful people!

another thank you goes to Karen for being my right hand!!
