Katie and Marshall: the wedding

Katie and Marshall: the wedding

Katie and Marshall are both teachers and are both so much fun that I knew their wedding day would be a blast. I started out my day at the Hilton where the girls were getting ready. This is what I was greeted with ...

I love it! It is so Katie! She is always smiling and is super spunky! She proceeded to get the dress out for me to photograph.

She had this beautiful lace shrug that went perfectly with her dress ...

Katie and Marshall gave each other a card to open every hour on the wedding day. I thought this one was funny!

getting her veil on ...

While I was with the girls, Karen was photographing the guys ...

Marshall reading one of his cards ...
they played a friendly game of chess ...

I love this shot ...

We went downtown to get some photos of the couple ... and we saw this Burmese python out. Marshall wanted to hold her ...

At one point during our photo time, Marshall said something that has stayed in my mind ... He said it about Katie, but said it in a voice as if he were talking to himself out loud. He said as he looked at Katie, 'I truly am the luckiest man in the world.'

The got the Cincinnati Trolley for their transportation ... love the trolley!

St. Peter in Chains ...

Katie waiting for the ceremony to begin ...

Walking into the reception ...

Katie and her father during their dance ...

I'd like to put down on record that Drew might be my favorite best man ... his toast was so touching. And I believe it was when he said "Marshall, I didn't think it was possible, but you have found in Katie, someone who loves you as much as I do." that I was sold on Drew. You can tell that he and Marshall are truly like brothers.

the entertainment ...

the 'other' entertainment :)
