Karen's family

Another fun family shoot

So, a lot of you may recognize Karen from your wedding. Karen asked me to do family photos for her this year and I couldn't wait! Or course when you are a photographer ... you rarely get the opportunity to be the subject of a photograph. So, I was honored to be able to photograph the whole family together. Here are a few of my favorites ...

I love her son's expression in this one ... he is SO funny and he and I always have a good time :) Mostly because I think we are on the same mentality level. I am not looking forward to the day when he is too big to be silly with me!

I also made sure I did a couple of Karen and her husband ... I still need to get photos of my husband and I ... there just never seems to be enough time.
Her daughter is SO easy to photograph and I took advantage of it ...
It was snowing pretty hard during our shoot ... and the kids were looking up at the snow (and maybe the birds too ...) - but snow sounded better.

I *heart* this next one! It makes me smile ...

here are the parents watching the kids and snuggling to keep warm!

and I really wasn't kidding about it snowing hard!
Karen, you know I had fun! Thank you so much for asking me ... I was honored.

Cameron and Jensen's session

Jensen and Cameron
I had the amazing opportunity to photograph yet another newborn this year! He is such an angel! His big brother is so proud of him.
Here are a few of our images from our session ...

He really didn't wake up the entire time I was there, but he was sure to let us know that it was his naptime :)
he looked so cute all scrunched up ... baby style.

Enter big brother, Cameron ...
who is quite the artist ... he drew for me and his subject of choice was a sword ...
being a true artist requires a lot of concentration ...

Then he showed me his room ...

and showed off his guitar skills ...
we went outside, but only for a minute ... it had starte to snow and it was FREEZING outside!
a funny face ...

he had lost a tooth a couple of days before I got there ... here's the proof ...

I had such fun with you boys! Next time ... we'll play outside more too!

Noah, Max and Molly photo shoot

Noah, Max and Molly

I photographed Molly, Max and Noah last year and I have to say that I can't believe how big the kids are! I told their dad to stop watering them so much! These kids are so much fun to photograph - and the camera just loves them ... so, it makes my job easy! We went to Miami Whitewater to do some outdoor shots ... thank goodness it was warmer than it is now!!! Yikes!

Here are a few of my favorites from our time together ...
Some fabulous warm light coming through the trees and Max in front of it and BAM ... a great photograph was made :)

Miss Molly ... who the last time I photographed her ... cried the whole time! Poor thing wasn't feeling well so this year ... it was a whole new ball game!
Noah working the camera ...

I love this one ...

Max is SOO good in front of the camera and I just love his glasses ...

Molly was telling me about something dramatic! I think she's going to be an actress when she gets older ...

their headless shot ... love how Molly's legs are crossed ...
This might be my favorite shot of all of the kids ... I will take this over a posed photograph any day ... I think this would be a gallery wrap canvas on my wall (BIG) if these were my kids (ahem, Dan and Kendal - that was a hint!) ...
She is so expressive it just makes my heart smile :)
and just when I thought I had seen it all ... she belted out a song ... and I mean she really put her heart and soul into it ... and she can definitely raise a roof!
love this shot of her ...

Max rockin' the photo ...

and that is all folks ... Max, Noah and Molly ... you guys are too much fun! I loved photographing you ... thank you so much for all of your hard work :) Can't wait to do it again!!!
