Gil and Kristin

Gil and Kristin
Gil and Kristin's engagement shoot started out VERY cloudy and looked, for a moment or two, like we wouldn't have very cooperative weather ... but we got lucky! As soon as we started our shoot, the clouds parted and the beautiful warm sun shone through. Gotta love that. Here are a few of my favorites from our shoot.
A little silhouette for our first shot ...
We shot at Mt. Storm and they have this wonderful temple on the grounds. I loved the way the evening sun lit it up in the background.
The ring shot which I love...
Couldn't have asked for a better prop than this bright yellow rain coat ... Kristin is a genius ...
Then we headed out to their stomping ground...
This next shot is going in my book of all time favorites. And the best part? It wasn't planned AT ALL! As I was shooting there were all kinds of people walking around us ... then out of nowhere this older couple walked right through the middle of my shot. Didn't really notice until after I took the shot. I love seeing them (the young, newly engaged couple) in the foreground, and this older couple (probably married 40+ years) HOLDING HANDS in the background. It just doesn't get any better than this, folks.
Kristin and Gil, I had such a wonderful time with the two of you. I'm really looking forward to the wedding! I hope you are enjoying your photos!
