Our 44th President

If you didn't get the opportunity to watch/listen to Barack's speech today, you absolutely must when you get a moment. It was thoughtful, well delivered and had depth and substance. It was wonderfully written.

I wish him all the best as he has a very rocky road ahead of him.

Absolutely amazing that on this 20th day of January, we made history.

So, Dina contacted me about getting some portfolio shots done. I always enjoy working with models so I was looking forward to it. We had the shoot before I left for vacation and I didn't have time to edit it until I got back. So ... without further delay ... here are a few of my favorites from our time ...

I met Jay for the first time at the engagement session and was thrilled that he was just as wonderful as Robin! We had to reschedule their shoot on account of cold weather and we were SO glad that we did. It was almost 65 degrees! Gotta love Cincinnati's weather!

Robin and Jay love the Southgate House in Newport, so it was a perfect place to start their session!

We wandered around Newport a bit ...

Out of the Office

Well, it is that time of year again ... time for me to take some much needed time off. The office will be closed from 1/8 - 1/18. All emails and phone calls will be returned shortly after.

Cotillion Events

I had a photoshoot with Mauricio from Cotillion Events in December. He wanted photos of a few of his cakes for some marketing material he was putting together. I photographed one of his materpieces at Amy and Pete's wedding and he loved the photos so much, he called me first. I was honored. He is a true artist when it comes to his cakes. He has a passion that came through as he told me about how he worked with each bride to produce the perfect confection for her wedding day. I was 100% impressed with his professionalism and who can resist a guy with a fabulous accent?

He even brought me some cupcakes so that I could sample some of his work!! Woo hoo!!!

Two words ... I'm SOLD. He is amazing the kitchen! But don't take my word for it ... by all means, call him yourself and set up a tasting! His website is HERE.
