Susan and Grant: the wedding

Susan and Grant: the wedding

Susan and Grant's wedding was classic and beautiful. The entire day couldn't have been more perfect. When I arrived at the Royal Oak Country Club, I saw Susan hanging up the dress through the doorway.

So, that was the first thing I photographed ...

Her shoes reminded me of a pair that Jackie O wore ...

Sarah Stear from Eros Salon did hair AND makeup ... yes, she is THAT talented. Her work is amazing.

Getting into the dress ...

the little flower girls had the CUTEST dresses. They looked like little ballerinas - I loved it!

getting her veil on with a little help from mom ...

While I was with the girls, Karen was with the guys ...

Love that Grant did a REAL bowtie. He tied it himself. For those who don't know ... that takes talent.
the flower girls saw Grant coming up to the door and they all gathered around to see him ...

Grant had a tux that was very '007' ...

their programs that Susan made ...

the florist set these gerbera daisies at the end of each row down the aisle. I loved the moss detail at the bottom that he added. His name is Timothy Lieber and he works by referral only ... so, ladies ... if you are interested. Send me a note. He's amazing.
Grant waiting to greet the guests as they arrive ...
the adorable flower girls coming down the aisle ...

Grant had to get up on his tip toes to see Susan over all of the people ...

Love the couples that stop and kiss on their way back up the aisle! Such a fun photo!

all of the little ones ...

making it all legal ...

instead of a seating chart, they did little baskets with raspberries for the guests to snack on ... the florist put them on wheat grass and surrounded the whole thing with moss and rocks ... LOVE IT!

Susan switched out her veil for a feather clip for the reception. Sarah stayed around to make sure she had help with it - another reason Sarah is so amazing!

the cake .... Mmmmmm

Susan and Grant, your wedding goes down in history as perfection. Congratulations to you both. I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
