Molly and Mike's wedding

Molly and Mike's wedding

We headed up to Dayton for Molly and Mike's wedding. Molly and ALL of the girls got their hair done at Michael's Salon. When I got married, I also got my hair done at Michael's, but this was long before they had their new 'digs'. The place was so hip and trendy - I loved it! I think Molly's wedding party and the moms took up half of the salon's chairs that morning! It felt like every time I turned around there was another girl from their wedding in another chair! Needless to say, we were 'hoppin'.

Here is an overview shot of the front half of the salon ...

I loved the simplicity of this shot. Good composition ... I probably should have straightened their photos for them on the wall because that sort of thing drives me nuts. Fortunately for them, I was too busy to go around fixing everything. I think I have a touch of OCD.

Molly's hair with her tiara ...
Then we headed over to the Shuster Center where the reception would be held that evening and where the girls finished getting ready ...
I think the girls felt like rock stars in this dressing room with all of the lights and mirrors ...
Molly putting the finishing touches on her makeup ...
and Molly's super fun shoes!! I totally love the green!!
Getting the dress on ...
with some help ...
Molly and Mike ...
So CUTE!!!
Mike looking very dapper ...
Then the star of the show showed up! Meet Michael (their son) ... and make no mistake about it ... this was HIS day. Molly and Mike just tagged along.
See? He even got a private escort to the front of the church ... this little man rides in STYLE!
Mike waiting for his bride ...
and Molly and her dad coming down the aisle ...
I really liked this shot of them lighting the unity candle ...
And Michael with his grandma during the ceremony. I love how their foreheads are touching ...
The kiss ...
and the happy family!!!
a few of the bridal party going to the party van ...
which took them to Oregon Express ... a bar in the Oregon District. They decided to kickstart the reception with a shot ... or 16 shots!
bottom's up!
Karen and I headed over to the reception site to get set up and to photograph the site before the guests got there.
And another one of Michael ... OOZING his cuteness!
They did the toasts on the balcony ...
and I loved being able to see the bridal party during the toasts.
The best man getting warmed up for the dance floor ... Look out ladies! This guy's got the MOVES!
The first dance ...
and Karen got a great shot of the rings for me!
Molly and Mike ... CONGRATULATIONS! I wish you both (or all three) a lifetime of happiness! You were both so much fun!
A sincere thank you goes out to Karen for helping out. As always, it was wonderful working with you!
