Workshop 2009

I am back from my photography workshop in KC! I had an amazing time.
I take one big photography workshop a year and this year it was the ArtOfTheMoment workshop put on by Tyler Wirken and Brooks Whittington. They are two incredibly talented photographers and I am proud to call them both friends whom I have known them for years.
The workshop really resonated with me what wedding photography is all about and I can't wait to incorporate all of the new ideas in my weddings this year. I'm sure there are people reading this who are thinking ... I already know what wedding photography is all about - and for the most part, you are probably right. The Moment Workshop took that to a whole new level.

Workshops are important (in my eyes) because no one ever knows everything there is to know about a subject or business. I feel like we all have things to learn. That's what keeps us going.
"When you stop learning, you die." - not sure who said this, but how true.

I completely agree ~ there is always more to learn! I also just got back from a great conference. Can't wait to see your new ideas in your work :)
