Jennifer and Steve's wedding

Jennifer and Steve's wedding
Jennifer and Steve's wedding was one I had been looking forward to for a long time. I email with Jennifer a lot and I feel like we are friends now. She is such an amazingly warm person. I started out on the last day of August at the Mariemont Inn where I met up with Jennifer and the girls getting ready.

Jennifer's amazing shoes ...
and her amazing vintage jewelry ...
while she was waiting to get her hair done, she worked on her vows ...
and while she worked on her vows, we played a game ...
one of the bridesmaids getting her hair done ...
another bridesmaid getting her hair done ... (getting your hair done really makes you thirsty)
Jennifer's mom watched while Jennifer got all made up ...
Jennifer getting her makeup done ...

Jennifer waits while Mollie Elliott (an amazing makeup artist) fixes a stray eyelash on one of the girls ...

the girls getting dressed ...
Jennifer getting dressed ...
getting her shoes on ...
I love this shot ... Jennifer is getting ready to walk out the door and Lisa is ironing her sash on the end table ...

Jennifer and Steve meet up at the Observatory to see each other before the ceremony ...
one of the children gets to see Jennifer all dressed ... I love her expression ...
Steve and his dad give me the 'thumbs up' ...
I decided to go with 'casual shots' of the bridal party ... I think it worked perfectly for their day ...
it worked especially well with these girls ... they were a hoot all day long ...
a few shots of Jennifer and Steve before we headed to Alms Park for the ceremony ...

Alms Park was decorated beautifully ...
they had parasols for shade ...
the chuppah ...

their programs were also fans to keep cool with and I really enjoyed this shot that Barb got of them ...
Steve walking with his dad down the aisle ...
Jennifer walking down with her parents ...

We had a very interactive crowd at the wedding and they would chime in from time to time. It made us all laugh :)

the new Mr. and Mrs. ...
love the natural frame ...

there were SO many details worth capturing at this wedding ... these are just a few ...

the toasts ... I believe the best man's centered around the word 'patience' ... I'll say no more.

as the sun set ... the park got even more beautiful ...
'sparkler fun' ...

the HORA!!!

The rest of the evening was a blur. The band rocked and the people got down and boogied! It was a truly amazing day.
Congratulations to Jennifer and Steve. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.
A big thank you to Barb for keeping me in line and being my right hand for the day.
