I was reading my Cooking Light magazine this morning while eating my frosted shredded wheat cereal. I found this wonderful article about a cafe in Denver, CO called the SAME (So All May Eat) Cafe. They have no set menu and no pricing. You pay what you can or what you think the meal is worth. If you are unable to make a donation, you can pay with a little 'elbow grease' by helping out in the restaurant for an hour per meal. The article talks about the 'working poor' and those who are homeless. The food they prepare is organic and fresh. They have partnered with neighboring schools who grow organic garden for classes and use ingredients that are in season and readily available. I have to say that just reading about it made my heart smile. You can read more about them at: http://www.soallmayeat.org/
Or you can pick up the new Cooking Light magazine for June and read about it yourself - there are recipes from the restaurant and of course the magazine has an abundance of its own amazing recipes for yumminess! My sister has been getting me this magazine as a holiday gift for years now and I enjoy it more and more every year!

What a cool idea! We just started a home delivery service of organic fruits and veggies. It supports a small farm. I like the idea of doing that, supporting small businesses. That restaurant has the right idea!
