Owen and his family
We are in for a treat today! It feels like I have been doing a ton of engagement shoots lately so today we get a little something different...
I headed out to Ault Park to photograph Owen and his family. I have to say that he definitely kept me on my toes! 21 months old and a bundle of energy! Here are some of the shots from our time together...
I just love this next shot! I love the angle and Owen's expression! Having the time of his life (all 21 months of it)!
I love his little hand hanging on to dad...
We had some great sunlight and I loved the slight flare in some of these shots ...
A shadow shot ...
I'm sure he was picking a flower for mom :)
When you have a child under the age of 3, your chances of getting a good posed 'family shot' go down significantly. We got lucky.
THIS is what we normally get - and I love it!
Some more flare ...
Owen LOVED this game. We kept hearing his little voice say 'One more time!'
Here he is on the downswing ...
Oh to be that age again and have your dad tossing you up in the air!! I love that his little legs are flying up behind him!
I loved the light at the Pavilion coming through the arches... great for a silhouette shot. A sweet moment with mom.Owen, thank you so much for bringing your family out for our shoot last weekend! You are such a fabulous little man and I had a blast with you!

You did capture the moment and the family shot that I was afraid we wouldn't get. Thank you so much! You don't know how much this means to our family! Chasing this bundle full of energy is challenging. You have such an amazing, natural talent!
Many great shots...I also like "Owen on the downswing."
I really love the 2nd from last shot with Owen's hands on his father's head while Mom looks on from the right.
From a photography perspective, the shot draws my eye from a happy family scene right in to focus on Owen. From a parental perspective, it is one of those cherished moments as a parent, playing with your child. I'm sure the father was having fun playing with him and Mom was proud (of husband & son) as she watched.
Lecky,
I am SO glad you are happy with the pictures! It makes me smile! Loved working with you!
Tim, I LOVED the downswing photo. And, yes, he was definitely a daddy's boy - so it was nice to have mom close by to enjoy her boys!
