Amanda and Nick's engagement session

Amanda and Nick's engagement
Talk about a great day for a session! I met Amanda and Nick up at Sawyer Point for their engagement shoot. I had been looking forward to their shoot since they booked me. Their wedding day is on my birthday next year. So, I guess it goes without saying that they have to be a pretty fabulous couple for me to want to work on my b-day ... and if you assumed that ... you would be right! I knew as soon as I met them that I just HAD to photograph their wedding - such a fun couple!!
Here are a few shots from our e-session ...

I love the light in this one ...

Amanda's laugh is infectious ... I was laughing right along with her ...

the ring ... I like how this shot sort of looks like a positive/negative. One is in the light and one in the dark ... I just thought it was interesting.

OMG ... so cute ...

at the end of their session ... we played a bit with their shadows ...

Amanda and Nice, I hope you guys already know that I just adore you! I can't wait for the wedding!

Alisha and Brian and I met up at Ault Park for their engagement session. They had a gorgeous night for photographs. When I met them, I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding. They are such a loving, fun couple.

This is one of my favorites ...

I love Alisha's smile ...

Alisha and Brian, I can't wait for the wedding! I had a lot of fun with you two!

Miranda and Joe's wedding

Miranda and Joe's wedding

I am finally getting around to posting Miranda and Joe's wedding! I posted their sneak peek, but then couldn't find time to get the rest of the post done.

I met Miranda a couple of years ago when she was an intern at Cincy Chic. Once she got engaged, she called me. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her. She's a great girl and when I met Joe ... I realized they were the perfect couple! They had an outdoor ceremony at the sunken gardens at Landmark Baptist church. If you haven't seen it, you are missing out. What a wonderful place for a wedding.
here are a few images from the day ...

the limo waiting outside the main house ...

getting the dress on ...

Miranda and Joe seeing each other for the first time ...

then we headed outside for some photos before the ceremony ...

I love this shot ... Miranda is gorgeous!

the wedding party at the ceremony site ...

Joe almost didn't make it to the alter ...

thank goodness he did :)

I love this shot of the flower girl chasing the ringbearer down the aisle ...

Miranda getting emotional during the vows ...

the receiving line under this amazing tree ...

during the ceremony, a lot of people were having trouble hearing the vow which Miranda and Joe wrote themselves. So when they got to the reception, they grabbed a mic and did a re-reading.

Miranda and Joe, congratulations!!! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!!! Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph such a wonderful union of two wonderful people!

another thank you goes to Karen for being my right hand!!
