These babies are going to keep my feet nice and dry through the rainy season and all of the mud that comes with it! So, what does a photographer do when she gets a new pair of boots??? She has a photoshoot with them!

Sweeney Todd

Last night we headed out to see the Sweeney Todd (the musical) at the Aronoff Center. I have seen the show before, but it has been a LONG time. I think I was in college. It was done in a very unique way with no scene changes. I think tonight is the last night it is in town, but it was definitely worth seeing. Although I haven't seen the movie, I've heard it is quite different. The story line is the same, but it is much darker. I really love going to the theater. There is something about live performances that enraptures me.

Peonies

They have been my favorite flowers since I was small. My grandmother grew them and had dozens of them in her back yard. I remember their distinct smell. I love how they have tons of layers that seem to go on forever.
